-Something embarrassing happened to Sayu recently.
-Sayu went out for dinner with her mom and her sister
-During the dinner, Sayu took out a single tissue from her packet of tissue to blow her nose
-After they exited the restaurant and were walking a guy behind them was saying “wait, wait~” to the clerk because he thought they forgot something
-the forgotten item being the used tissue (in which he carried with him to return to Sayu)
-Sayu didn’t know exactly what to do since she didn’t exactly want it back…but ended up giving a very confused “thank you very much”
-she was so embarrassed while taking back the garbage c20.gif

Daigo

-For Pepper Keibu promotion, Morning Musume were guests on Music Japan with Daigo
-In the past, Sayu was on a show called “Revelations of M” With Nakazawa Yuko.
-at Music Japan, Daigo san told Sayu that he remembered her from being a former guest on Revelations of M
-he doesn’t remember all the details but he remembered her and the show so Sayu was touched

[After a concert, on the way back to the hotel do you have time to do things? or do you not leave the hotel?]

-Usually after you return to the hotel, leaving is a little troublesome so normally they don’t
-on the way back to the hotel they can make stops to the convenience store to buy things they need for the day or things like desserts
-Sayu quite enjoys the time after returning to the hotel
-She’d hop into the elegant bathtub and prepare her bath water by herself
-usually her mom would prepare the bath water for her but while staying at a hotel Sayu does it herself, thus giving her a grown up feeling
-she also likes how she uses shampoo out of packets.
-There’s a fresh feeling to it all that she likes.

Bathroom revisited

-Sayu’s dad and brother both properly lock the door when they use the washroom
-Sayu knows she mentioned this before but seeing as how this was very recent, she tells us how her mom once again didn’t lock the door when she was in the washroom. Sayu, of course, walked in on her. Sayu complains about how she’s the one embarrassed while her mom seems to think nothing of it. To Sayu, it’s just not a pleasant sight seeing everything c20.gif
-once, Sayu entered the washroom after her dad and found magazines and she thought to herself “ah, so he was reading this magazine in the washroom”
-Sayu would prefer it if they weren’t left about

[listener comments on how Sayu would often use the phrase "naru hodo ne" (I see)]

-Sayu has been thinking the same thing, that she’s been using “naru hodo ne” a lot
-She finds she uses it a lot, not so much when talking with Eri but with Ai chan
-Ai chan really likes to talk about western-styled clothing. she has tons of knowledge on the subject such as makers and brands, etc.
-Sayu doesn’t know much since she doesn’t buy girl magazines and stuff
-Ai chan can talk about the subject forever but no matter how much Sayu listens…she still knows zilch so she’d often reply with ‘naru hodo ne~ eeeh? naru hodo ne, sugoi!’ a lot
-so it turns out Sayu usually the phrase “I see” when she actually doesn’t c20.gif
-Sayu somehow managed to figure out she uses the phrase a lot on her own though
-she doesn’t like how she can’t hide anything from her attentive listeners so she’ll have to be more careful c20.gif

Love Story

-In Love Story, Sayu was blindfolded and asked to guess the flavour of the juice she was drinking.
-Before hand the staffed asked her “Michishige san, is there anything you’re not good with /dislike?”
-Sayu didn’t even think of mangos..so she replied “I can eat anything!” while thinking everything will be alright
-and then the mango juice came. upon drinking it, Sayu thought the flavour was really tasty
-she was trying to figure out what the flavour since the taste was somehow nostalgic. She guessed pineapple after opening her eyes but she found out it was mango juice..
-and here she thought she HATED, HATED, HATED eating mangos and that she would not eat them
-she’s grateful

Egg

-Sayu thinks Mori Saki san is really cute
-they started talking at the recent concert
-she has a princess aura to her
-after talking to her, Sayu comes to the conclusion that she really is like a princess. At home she would talk to her mom in honorifics.
-Sayu is amazed by that and finds she gives off this good aura that cleanses her mind

Sugai sensei

-Sayu really likes Sugai sensei
-Even now he’s still around (like during tours)
-Sayu finds him interesting and cute (personality wise!)
-for vocal practice they have two choices, either practicing solo with MD or practicing with a instructor
-you can choose based on your own determination and your physical condition
-once Sayu’s throat was in bad condition (probably meant her throat hurt) so she didn’t go to Sugai sensei
-Sugai sensei later went to Sayu and told her “isn’t it lonely~” so Sayu thought that was cute and girlie c20.gif
-he’s really cute. when Sayu couldn’t get a key right, she asked Sugai sensei for advice but he joked about not teaching her that since she hates it
-at concerts when she does a high five with him, her spirit rises
-her impression of him has greatly changed since the audition
-people watching the audition must have thought he was scary but recently he’s been getting along really well with everyone
-she really likes him for a teacher

Eri

-there was a listener that wrote and made up a scenario to Sayu about Eri going out shopping with a cool guy and Sayu had to respond with the word AH!
-Sayu responds with a realistic sounding Ah! but Sayu explains that she’s sure the scenario isn’t real because there are no secrets between the two of them
-they are each other’s secret keepers. Sayu tells Eri all her secrets and Eri tells Sayu all her secrets.
-they don’t have to tell each other to keep it a secret, it’s an unspoken agreement since they know by the atmosphere
-Eri would never tell a soul
-Sayu thinks they have a very deep bond

[Having Tsunku for a father]

-Sayu doesn’t like the idea
-She thinks it’s okay if he finds fault with her work but it be horrible if he were to judge her private life too
-Sayu can’t see Tsunku as her dad. She can only see his sparkling aura image
-it’d be nice since he’s a health nut
-some members in haropro call him “Tsunku papa” but Sayu doesn’t feel the fatherly thing at all.
-Tsunku is just Tsunku to her.

The members are surprisingly bad at dress rehearsal. At the start, when they do it in studio, they get complimented by the teachers and their managers but the pressure of having to do the real thing the next day causes things to not go well…the teachers will certainly get angry and everyone ends up crying. this time it was surprisingly fine compared to All Singles Complete. Having not seen the fans for awhile, when the real thing happens, the fans help calm Sayu down and she comes to think that things will be fine

[crocodile talk from Love Story]

Sayu thought it was fun talking about the crocodiles in Love Story. She thinks it’s all strange…like why do crocodiles exist? or why are there crocodiles?

Sayu once went to the Banana-crocodile park in Shizuoka, It had tons of crocodiles there. To Sayu, it felt like the crocodiles naturally belonged there and that their existence was far greater than that of humans so it’s more like the presence of humans was the strange thing, though it’s not like she wants one for a pet or to take a crocodile home but they certainly did appeal to her while visiting the park. According to Sayu, just by looking at crocodiles you can get the impression that they came from dinosaurs. Sayu starts to talk about the extinction of dinosaurs but she couldn’t come up with the proper pronunciation for extinction (zetsumetsu) so she took a couple of stabs at it and asked the staff to help her out. the staff took a couple of random wrong guesses too so Sayu says we’re all idiots ^_^;

At the park there was also a bird. there was a sign that said the bird can talk. Sayu tried talking to it by saying “Konnichiwa” and “I’m Sayumi” but the bird totally ignored her, but when her sister went there on a school trip, the bird replied to her. anyways the Crocodile Park was a lot of fun

[Last time on the show you said that your brother used to a be a morning musume fan, I was surprised because I thought he wasn't interested in girls, doesn't he have any interest in the current morning musume? What is he interested in?]

her brother is really into Ryoko Hirosue and has posters of her in his room…and photobooks, cds, etc. as for the current morning musume, when Kamei Eri chan comes over to Sayu’s house, he would say things like “Eri chan’s cute~.” Eri once went back to Yamaguchi with Sayu and when returning, Sayu wanted to stay in Yamaguchi a little longer. it wouldn’t have been proper to send Eri back alone so Sayu’s bother took the flight back to Tokyo with Eri. When Eri and Sayu think back on it they find the whole thing really strange.

Sayu has this plastic bottle for water and her brother wanted a drink from it. At work Fujimoto san also drank from the bottle so she told her brother “Miki drank from that” and her brother was like “Really?” he seemed really happy.

her brother seems to be into tv and variety shows lately.

Today is Bonkyu BonKyu Boom’s second day at Tokyo Welfare Meeting Hall
No WASSUP today. lonely. But physically it was easier~
I enjoyed both times. It was a good feeling two days
I ate a bagel when I got home.
Let’s sleep soundly~

during WASSUP Sayu and Koharu dance behind Ai chan. they are suppose to dance like they are guards protecting Ai chan. Tsunku came to check on the performance on the second day. He said it didn’t leave an impression on him (? zuika nashi? zuikan nashi?) so he changed the song. Sayu was shocked, after all it’s Ai chan’s solo we’re talking about it was a little lonely since Sayu missed watching Koharu’s facial expressions during WASSUP but on the bright side it was physically easier not having to do it.

January 20, 2007

PV shoot today~ it was super COLD!
The dance scene went well so thank goodness
When I got home, I chatted with my sister and her friends, it was a lot of fun
We also played on the wii, real fun~
Dinner and dessert was super delicious! tooo happy~
Seriously received a lot at once. Too amusing
It’s been awhile since I laughed so much in this way. Gooddo!

the pv was for Eago Yes Nude, it was super cold. she didn’t know her sisters friends would be over. it was fun talking and playing with everyone. she would play wii with her family, like tennis wii

[oneechan]

-Mom and sister were just casually walking and her sister walked *more like slammed* into a glass door.

-Sayu’s sister is the type keeps her stickers in perfect condition (ie not actually sticking them on stuff)
-She really likes drawings and is really good at drawing herself. she’d draw tons of stuff on her notebooks and stuff but not only that, back home in Yamaguchi, on the door to Sayu’s room, there are big crayon drawings on it. At one time her sister really liked the artist 19. She was so in love with the lyrics to one of their songs that she wrote them all on Sayu’s door with crayons, Sayu was really shocked. They both tried very hard to clean it off but they just couldn’t get rid of it, but because of the maggots and stuff, she hired some cleaners to clean the house before she returned to yamaguchi on her next visit, they managed to clean everything (sayu’s so thankful )

sayu would like that but she fears her sister would be so nervous that she wouldn’t be able to talk. her sister’s bad with the public, not that she’s shy, but because she doesn’t know anything about polite speech. she’s really casual.

her sister is good at drinking now but when she was 20, she didn’t know any better. alcohol seemed tasty to her so she drank a lot. being drunk and all she ended up sleeping on the road without noticing, it was very dangerous and bothersome. Sayu wants her sister to be careful but it doesn’t seem to be an issue now

[dieting]

lately there’s been this hip swirling exercise diet that has been popular. for the diet to work you’re suppose to do the exercise 30 times a day. Sayu wanted to try it after seeing it on tv but Sayu wanted to speed up the process so she did the swirling 300 times in one day, -the next day she was too tired to do it. she knew perfectly well before hand that it’s bad to overdo it in one day but she was too eager. she also tried a banana diet. the supermarket near her place had bananas for 150 yen a bunch.Sayu thought this was super cheap so she bought a ton of them. for the diet you are suppose to eat a banana during the morning but she ate them at night too so it didn’t work at all

[Cinderella]

Sayu admits that the Cinderella musical caused her to be really emotional at home. being at the same place every single day and doing the same thing every single day caused her to go a little funny. when she went home, she just wouldn’t talk. all her responses were simple “un”s (yes) and nothing more when she had to acknowledge something. Sayu says she feels like crying now when thinking back to that since it’s so embrassing but her sister supported her through that. (Sayu totally loses it during that last part of that…she can’t stop laughing )

[Pepper Keibu]

Sayu’s mom knew of Pepper Keibu. when she heard they were doing Pepper Keibu, her mom was like “Ah that’s cool!” “it’s interesting” “it’s new. “Sayu was glad that her mom was happy. Reina’s mom showed Reina how to do the footwork part (a lot of their moms know how to do the dance). -Sayu’s mom didn’t know it at all so it was like new to her when seeing the Choreography from morning musume.

[At a cultural festival what kind of stall would you run?]
-Crepe stall

[have you seen your own dvd? -Love Story]
Sayu watched it~ she was surprised when only her voice diary ended up on the dvd because while in her hotel room she recorded/took a lot of imagines of herself too. she doesn’t know what happened since she took a lot and she put a lot of effort into think up scenarios like hiding from a bear, opening curtains after a dark day but they included the crocodile story though.

-During the Cinderella Musical many members of hello project went to see the play
(berryz, OG, Konno…etc).
-One day their manager said, “konno will be coming today,” but Reina wasn’t paying attention so she asked them what the manager had said.
-so Sayu casually said “Konno’s coming…” (erm…maybe more like “Konno’s coming is what” or something that doesn’t sound all that great but anyways)
-that’s when Konno entered the 6th gen dressing room
-Having heard Sayu, Konno still greeted them normally and wished them a good time but Sayu had the feeling that she was a little mad
-Sayu starts to sweat it out here
-she kept trying to tell konkon that it’s not what it sounds like…it’s a misunderstand etc…but Konkon kept saying that “it’s fine, it’s fine.”
-Even when Sayu was leaving…she was still trying to explain that she was just repeating what the had manager said…

-Sayu sings Ponyo on a cliff as her batsu song, the lyrics are super cute

[what don't you like to lose at]

-this depends on her strength level during the concert but if she still has energy left Sayu doesn’t like to lose at jumping.
-during the chorus part of resonant blue she doesn’t like to lose to JunJun (since she’s next to her during the head shaking part) She’d intentionally lower her body more.

[Are there Michishige only words?]

-She uses the word “pip pip” for the television remote control.
-even her 50/60 year old father and her brother use the word
-there’s also the word “Toppin” she doesn’t know if it’s a Michishige word or a Yamaguchi word
-She uses it when referring to something fast like instead of Sugu iku (to go soon) she says toppin de iku
-Since Eri’s always with Sayu, Eri’s picked up on her words and used Toppin during a MC…the place went dead silent since everyone was probably trying to figure out what Toppin meant
-Sayu asked her mom the origin of the word and her mother was like…I don’t know..it could be yamaguchi dialect…or maybe we just made it up.

[listener comes up with the idea that Sayu got the ladybug (tentoumushi) cake for her 100th show because it 10x10=100 (The English word Ten and the kanji 10)]
-Sayu thought this was clever but she’s sure that’s not the case here…so she asked the staff and it wasn’t
-the cake creeped Sayu out so she left it to her manager

-the day before the radio show, Sayu was thinking about what to talk about on her show so she asked Koharu if she could talk about her and Koharu was like yes please do.
-Koharu said she had this dream, so Sayu asked Koharu to tell her about the dream (and what a mistake that was! the dream talk went on foreeevver~) poor Sayu
-the dream was something about there being a lot of defeated soldiers around so Koharu was trying to run away but for some reason she started singing milky way.
-now because this talk went on forever…Sayu was getting worn out and that’s when Eri called for her and she was like “What is it Eri?!” in a really high voice
-Sayu took this opportunity to quickly run away but later Koharu was like “can I continue telling you about my dream?”
-Of course Sayu agreed, so it was back to listening to koharu’s dream talk.

[scenario about graffiti on scripts]

-Sayu figures if Ai chan’s script had scribbles on it, she wouldn’t mind. Even though her blood type is A, she’s not really the type to kind to care about such things.
-well she does have a really tidy room but even Ai chan herself said she doesn’t seem like the A type.
-now if it were Reina’s script that got vandalizing…there would be big trouble. Even though Reina’s blood type is O…Reina keeps her things really neat and tidy.

-Sayu is really good at tetris but we learn that she also likes puyo puyo.
-When she was a kid in Yamaguchi there was this restaurant for grownup and kids
-it had a ton of games for kids. So while the grownups were chatting their kids would go off to play..
-Sayu ended up playing a lot of puyo puyo and really liking it.

[What is Sayu's mom favourite song?]

-Sayu’s sister likes Go Girl! Koi No Victory and sings that at karaoke
-When Sayu’s mom goes with them to Karaoke she’s too embarrassed to sing so it’s always sayu and her sister singing
-while doing cooking and cleaning her mom would sing a line or two from Ai Araba, sometimes she’d sing sexy boy.
-her mom also likes aruiteru and mikan.
-she thinks Ai araba wins cause it’s easy to remember

[Ai chan's bday]

-For Ai chan’s birthday, Sayu sent her a birthday email.
-it was all decked out with cute decorations
-Sayu looked up a way to put a ton of Ai’s in it so it would go Ai Ai Ai Ai
-she sent it at midnight and was hoping to be first one but she didn’t get a reply from Ai chan.
-She expected a simple thank you text back but nothing came so she was worried that it didn’t send.
-the next day at 3pm she got a reply that said “arigatou”
-Sayu thinks that such a Ai chan thing…she doesn’t know if Ai chan’s just bad at emails or what but she would usually send one word replies…like “yes.” and “okay”
-It’s so ungirlie when compared to say Gaki san’s emails. Gaki san would sign off with “From Risa” and a little squirrel mark at the end.
-for a birthday present she got Ai chan a pajama-like shirt with cupcake and sweets printed all over it
-the next day during a concert rehearsal Ai chan was wearing the shirt.
-a bunch of people said that was definitely pajama wear
-Sayu was positive they were pajamas when she bought it but here Ai chan was all like “Sayu I’m wearing it” =D
-Sayu was happy yet really surprised!
-but anyways Ai chan’s a great leader =D
